Hell Broken Loose

NOTE: If you're confused by the game PLEASE READ THE GAMEPLAY PART OF THE DESCRIPTION. You can also press "/" to get 10,000 soulblood.
Fullscreen is recommended.
Break free from containment and feed upon the souls of the living, then return to your den to grow stronger. Don't act too recklessly, or your life will be cut short.
Controls:
Move - WASD
Attack - LMB
Interact - E
Pause - Esc
Gameplay:
You have one goal, feed. Start from humble beginnings and consume the souls of your enemies to use to unlock new power and level up. Choose from a wide selection of attacks, innate powers, mutations and forms to become the apex predator.
Innate powers are passive abilities that trigger in certain situations. (overtime, when damaged, etc.)
Mutations lower one stat to raise another or give some other bonus.
Forms change the base stats and are unlockable after certain conditions are met. (seen when hovering over)
Killing enemies gives soulblood, which is used to unlock things and level up. Leveling up will make enemies stronger but also give more soulblood.
To end a level, the player has to find a portal (Screenshot 6) and interact with it.
(If you're interested in trying out a bunch of different things but don't want to spend the time to grind, pressing the "/" key will grant you 10,000 soulblood)
NOTES/ISSUES:
Things like sound effects and some animations are missing because I got sick and ran out of time.
I wanted there to be an end goal but couldn't think of one so it's more of a sandbox experience. (If you want an end goal it can be unlocking the apex form)
Attack upgrades are a bit expensive, but upgrading things isn't that important currently.
I wanted more enemy variety but couldn't think of anything in time (again because sick)
The game seems balanced enough to me, though it can always be better, especially since I don't feel I had a lot time to play around with it. Any feedback would be appreciated.
